Privacy Statement

I will not personally release any information without your permission.

Modes of communication in this course take three forms: participation in a web-based discussion, direct e-mail or phone, and classroom discussion.

Your discussion contributions are essentially public in nature. Messages sent directly to me are analogous to a personal conference with the instructor and will be considered private, as will any communications via physical mail or telephone.

Please note that I cannot guarantee privacy. Even as telephone conversations can be tapped, so can e-mail messages. This is extremely unlikely, of course, but you should be mindful of the fact.
