CCD Geography 105 - World Regional Geography
Geo 105 Tests
Tests are intended to measure how well you are meeting the course learning objectives. They test you, but they also test the effectiveness of the course and the instructor. I suspect that no student likes tests very much. However without testing, it is difficult to assess whether the course is meeting its objectives. If you have "test anxiety" you need not worry — there are only two tests and they comprise only a small part of your grade in the course. Our tests will be drawn from lectures, classroom discussion, assignments, "in the news" presentations, reading reaction papers and map quizzes. However the best preparation is to be able to answer the reading reaction questions for each chapter.
